Wind River Studios was founded in 1987 by Wyoming native James A. Helzer as a division of Unicover Corporation. Located next to the majestic Rocky Mountains in historic Cheyenne, Wyoming, Wind River Studios is home to one of the world’s most unique and exceptional collections of original artwork.

Our vaults hold over 11,000 original artworks—each one a genuine, one-of-a-kind original work of art—by some of the world’s leading artists. Each and every piece of art in our collection was specially commissioned by us over the past four decades to illustrate collectibles and for other commercial projects, and their images have been admired and enjoyed by millions around the globe.

Several years ago, we decided to open our vaults and share this extraordinary treasure-trove with the world, because we believe that everyone should have the chance to experience the feeling of owning a 100% original, one-of-a-kind work of art for themselves.
