Gary Greer: Bicolor Rose The Bicolor Rose is unique with its coppery-red blooms and prominent yellow stamens. This exceptional color combination is difficult to match in other roses of the garden. Blooms of the Bicolor are borne on dark brown stems along with parsley-green foliage. Its fragrance is heavy and somewhat disagreeable. This painting originally appeared on the Fleetwood® First Day Cover for the Swizerland Bicolor Rose stamp Flora and Fauna of the World Collection issued November 28, 1977.
